Attendance Rules
1. Each Student of FYUP (Four Year Under-Graduate Program) is eligible to sit for the Semester End examination only if s/he has attended, in all subjects taken together, not less than the TWO-THIRD of the lectures/practical/presentations/tutorials of the total lectures/practical/presentations/tutorials required to be attended.
2. A student of Semester IV/VI/VIII who SEEKS TO EXIT with a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree/Bachelor’s with Hons. / B. Tech degree shall be allowed to appear at the IV/VI/VIII Semester Examination, as the case may be, if by combining the attendance of the academic years of Part II/Part III/Part IV, as the case may be, the candidate has put in TWO-THIRD of attendance, in all subjects taken together, held during the respective years.
3. For exceptionally hard cases of illness/disabling accident, the Principal in accordance with the University rules, will review the attendance requirements on case to case basis. For the purpose, Medical Certificate along with all supporting documents is required to be submitted at the dispatch window of the college within three days of joining the college and will not be considered after that.
4. In case of absence from classes for any of University/College approved NCC-Camps/inter-University sports events/inter-University festivals/NSS program/Projects or any other Co-curricular activity where the student is required to represent the College/University, attendance adjustments will be made as per the specified rules of DU.
5. The benefit of exclusion of classes as per point 3 & 4 above, either separately or jointly, shall IN NO CASE EXCEED ONE THIRD of the total number of lectures/ practical/presentations/tutorials.
6. The college takes a very serious view of lack of required attendance in all academic activities
(lectures/practical/presentations/tutorials/projects/any other).
7. Students residing in are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in classes failing which they will forfeit their hostel seat.

All rules and information notified in these pages (page no.01 to 03) will be superseded by any fresh notification from the university as and when received.
